The Plan

 

He’s yours because I love him

And I needed him to be

In a home with someone

Who would see what I can see.

He’s yours because he needs you

And what you can provide;

There’s no one he needs more

When he’s not near my side.

He’s yours because you’ll love him

For all his mortal days.

I knew you’d work to help him

Through all his mortal ways.

Remember when your heart aches

And peace you cannot find;

He’s yours . . . it’s no mistake –

And both of you are mine.

 

Author's Comments: In a difficult time, with a difficult child, these words came to me…a testimony that famiies are not formed by accident. Heavenly Father knows exactly what and who we need on this journey we call life.
